When this client moved from the Upper East Side to a classic Tribeca loft, she wanted to evoke the same personality that her new neighborhood emitted. Clarity was inspired by the timelessness and sophistication of designer handbags when selecting the furnishings, art, and décor for this home. Fur, velvet, and leather are a few of the various textural details purposefully placed to create that chic, luxurious feel. Clean lines mixed with creamy and camel-colored hues are reminiscent of the classic creations of Chanel, while subtle animal prints add a soft touch of character. Jewel tones, gold, brass, and beading are set against raw wood and cowhide for a unique yet polished contrast. Many of the apartment’s furnishings were sourced from local artisans in Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs to create that timeless New York atmosphere.
