East Coast Meets West Coast
Located on an inlet in Old Greenwich, Clarity Home Interiors drew inspiration from Hawaii to fulfill the design requests of these West Coast natives. Originally from Los Angeles, the clients wanted their home to remind them of their roots and evoke that laid-back California vibe. The traditional elements of the house were redesigned to fit this atmosphere. Focal walls were used in many of the rooms, including the master bedroom, decorated to resemble a luxury hotel suite, and one of the powder rooms, which features striking Hermes wallpaper. These walls draw attention without standing out by using neutral tones and heightened textures. A luxury spa-like quality is achieved in the master bathroom through black tiling, natural surfaces, and slatted wood detailing influenced by Japanese design.
