From Luxury Fashion to Luxury Interior Design

I had the great fortune of opening an interior design firm in 2000 in Greenwich, CT, and my luxury interior design firm, Clarity Home Interiors, was established in 2010.
You could say I’ve always had an eye for style. Steeped in rich traditions from being raised in the South and engrossed in my family’s manufacturing business provided me with an insider view on how elite craftsmen operate.
Before I made the shift to luxury interior design, I honed my skills in the world of high fashion as a luxury buyer for Saks Fifth Avenue where I worked with brands like Chanel, Gucci and Prada. Traveling through Europe for several years gave me a great sense of architecture, history and style.
In 1997, I oversaw the launch of Saks’ lucrative luxury accessories division–effectively creating a world-renowned luxury destination. From planning and budgeting, to developing purchasing strategies, to designing locations and curating collections, my nuanced expertise and adeptness led the luxury accessories division to $50 million in annual revenue for the venerable retailer.
The valuable insights gained from managing multi-million dollar budgets, deftly navigating the refined preferences of luxury shoppers and fashion trends, and effectively negotiating complex processes and vendor requirements made for a smooth path as I transitioned into luxury interior design.

Clarity Home Interiors is a full-service, luxury interior design studio with an aesthetic best described as timeless and sophisticated, without pretense.
When someone looks for a luxury interior designer, they aren’t just hunting for someone to rearrange their furniture. They’re seeking a visionary who can transform their space to reflect their personality, lifestyle, and personal narrative.
I believe passion and emotion are key elements of luxury interior design. Looking at a room from my perspective as a designer and transforming my clients’ lifestyle desires into reality is a real thrill.
The hunt for the perfect fabric, the inspiration piece that drives the movement of the room, the perfect wall color, and the excitement as the client sees their vision come to life are all things that make being a designer so rewarding.

I’m inspired by the world’s natural beauty—and family. Home is where my family is and when I enter a client’s home, I think about how they will live with their families and how furniture, art and design can impact and enhance these feelings of family and friends.
Family plays a major role in my life and charity work, too. I’ve been happily married to my husband, Matt, for 26 years and we have three children, Ashley, and twins, Wesley and Charlie. After my mom died from Alzheimer’s disease, her loss inspired me to volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association, and it’s an honor to help with the annual Greenwich gala.
Beauty, grace, strength, intelligence and love are just a few of the characteristics that come to mind when I think of my mom. I’m forever grateful she taught me their true meaning and instilled that in me.

For me, relationships are of utmost importance—generating authentic partnerships comes naturally. Someone once described my professional relationships as sweeping graciousness with the cheery familiarity of southern hospitality.
I get that from my dad, Buddy Weathers. I consider that description of my southern roots shining through the highest compliment, and one I know would make my mom so proud.
My dad is my biggest supporter and I love him beyond words. When I transitioned from my high fashion career in New York to start my luxury interior design firm, he fully supported me and encouraged me to take the leap. Buddy was a successful furniture manufacturer and respected by everyone in the industry.
During my first visit to High Point Market as an interior designer, a man almost ran us over trying to thank my dad for what he had done for him so many years ago. He opened doors for me and taught me the value of hard work, but also about relationships and their importance.
That’s what drives me to build trust and confidence in our processes and abilities, and not just with our clients. We cohesively work in tandem with builders, architects, and tradesmen to turn visions into stunning luxury interior design realities.
I truly cherish the relationships I cultivated with high-quality manufacturers throughout my career that often prove invaluable. This was particularly true during the pandemic when the supply chain crisis shattered the flow of production.
It’s truly a pleasure to say there is no request too large for Clarity Home Interiors. Most notably, we create architectural interiors for kitchens, bathrooms, and millwork that breathes elegance, style and personality into our projects.
Living in the south is an art form, and it’s this notion that Clarity Home Interiors values and refers to when undertaking projects of varying sizes. It fuels our specialization in expression and the one-of-a-kind services we delight in providing.
