A Riverside Retreat—Clarity Home Interiors’s Masterpiece of Luxury Pool House Design

Nestled in Riverside, CT, a breathtaking pool house and entertainment area showcases the Clarity Home Interiors expertise in luxury residential interior, and exterior, design. This project continues our previous work on the main home, seamlessly blending functionality, elegance, and family-oriented design. 

This pool house project involved meticulous design and construction of a new structure with an expansive patio. We’re proudly known for our architectural finesse, therefore we handled all in-house drafting and collaborated closely with the builder to ensure flawless execution. The scope included the 445-square-foot pool house, multiple patios, several seating areas, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, an island and bar with seating for 14, a grand fireplace structure, and a tastefully fenced-in pool. 

Every element exudes luxury and sophistication. The furnishings, curated by the Clarity Home Interiors design team, feature prestigious brands like Gloster, David Sutherland, Janus et Cie, and Tucci Umbrellas. The custom pergola, complete with heating and lighting, provides a cozy retreat for the family to relax. Each area is thoughtfully zoned for various entertaining needs, from intimate dinners for 14, to grand gatherings for 100 friends. 

The outdoor area is a testament to our commitment to create versatile and inviting spaces. A custom stone fireplace, surrounded by ample seating, offers a perfect spot to enjoy a game or unwind by the fire. Loungers by the pool and additional seating at the entrance of the sliding custom doors enhance the indoor-outdoor flow, making it ideal for relaxation and socialization. The pool pavilion also includes an enclosed outdoor shower, adding to the convenience and luxury. 

Inside the pool house, our design prowess truly shines. The interior features a bathroom, full kitchen, hidden storage areas, dining table and chairs, and a bench with hooks for hanging towels. The kitchen backsplash, a playful and colorful arrangement of greens, blues, and crisp whites in surfboard shapes, adds a whimsical touch. The green-painted cabinets reflect the client’s love of color and unique design.

The bathroom continues this color palette with bright green penny round tiles, a large, engineered stone countertop, and a custom green vanity offering ample storage. The terrazzo stone floors introduce a modern element, balancing the overall design. The shiplap siding, with a larger nickel gap extending to the 13-foot-high ceiling, adds rustic charm. 

The exterior of the pool house mirrors the architectural aspects of the main home, creating a cohesive aesthetic throughout the property. Custom lighting, designed by Clarity Home Interiors, enhances the ambiance, ensuring the pool house remains striking both day and night.
