The Story Behind The Greenwich Collection
This fall marks an exciting new chapter for Clarity Home Interiors with the introduction of The Greenwich Collection, our cabinetry and millwork collection created in collaboration with Unique Kitchens and Baths.
In many ways, the collection has been years in the making.
For more than two decades, we have designed kitchens, baths and custom millwork as an integral part of our projects. I have always believed that cabinetry should do more than provide storage. It helps define the architecture of a room and, ultimately, shapes how a home lives.
When the opportunity arose to collaborate with UKB, we saw a natural alignment between Clarity’s design perspective and their commitment to bespoke, furniture-grade craftsmanship. I began thinking about the details I return to again and again—the proportions, profiles, materials and architectural elements that make cabinetry feel less like something installed in a room and more like furniture that belongs there.
Why Greenwich
Naming it The Greenwich Collection felt natural.
Greenwich is where I founded Clarity Home Interiors and where I have had the privilege of designing homes for more than twenty-five years. I love its balance of history and modern life, its coastal setting and its proximity to New York City. There is sophistication here, but also a wonderful sense of home and community.
There is another layer to the name that connects beautifully to the collection: Greenwich, England. British design has long influenced my work, and that sensibility can be seen throughout the collection—from furniture-inspired cabinetry and warm, layered colors to beautiful brass hardware, decorative mesh and traditional forms interpreted in a more current way.
That balance between old and new became an important part of the collection.
Six Designs, Each With a Story

We developed six cabinet styles—Parrish, Jane, Wesley, Clark, Charlie and Belle—ranging from clean and architectural to traditional, curved and playful.
The names are all personal. They come from family names, my children, my Southern roots and even our beloved family dog. Each door has its own personality, just as the person or memory behind it does.
Parrish became the foundation of the collection: quiet, refined and architectural. Jane allowed us to have some fun with a decorative cutout—a detail we have designed for clients for years in pantries, laundry rooms and mudrooms. Wesley incorporates metal detailing for a more architectural expression. Clark gave me the opportunity to reconsider the raised panel, a traditional detail I love and wanted to make relevant again. Charlie and Belle introduce softer curves and a sense of playfulness.
There is history behind these doors, but they are not meant to feel historical. They are designed to be interpreted, customized and made personal to each home.
Designing the Collection at Home
Perhaps the most personal part of this collaboration is that we developed the collection through the design of my own kitchen.
The kitchen incorporates four of the six cabinet styles, allowing us to experience the collection exactly as our clients will—from drawings and finish selections through fabrication, installation and everyday use.
The design draws from bespoke English kitchens, but it isn’t intended to replicate one. We layered Benjamin Moore Pale Oak with Farrow & Ball London Clay, warm walnut-stained oak, richly veined marble, brass hardware, decorative metal mesh and furniture-inspired cabinetry to create something that feels collected rather than decorated.
There are pieces that feel old and others that are decidedly modern. That mix is very much how I like to design.
The most beautiful rooms, to me, are rarely about one period or one perfect idea. They evolve through layers—architecture, craftsmanship, things we collect, things we inherit and the everyday rituals that make a house a home.
This fall, we’ll be sharing much more of the kitchen, the collection and the stories behind its design as The Greenwich Collection officially launches with Unique Kitchens and Baths at High Point Market.
For us, the launch is only the beginning. We look forward to sharing what comes next.
